Vijay's 51st movie is KavalanKaaval Kaadhal, which a remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara, has been renamed Kaavalan. This is Ilaya Thalapathy Vijays' 51st movie and has high hopes of bringing back his fame in film industry.
Kaavalan is directed by Siddique, who directed the original version. The film has a plot with plenty of comedy and action and also brings Asin back to Kollywood after a gap.
Ilayathalapathy Vijay has started shooting for the next schedule of his tentatively titled film ‘Kaaval Kadhal’. The first thing is that the film’s title has been changed as ‘Kaavalan’, which looks more apt for the title and film’s theme as well. Naturally, it sounds like a word-to-word translation of Malayalam version ‘Bodyguard’.
The other important news is about filmmaker-producer Sakthi Chidambaram of Cinema Paradise acquiring rights over the film. When approached the closer sources, they have mentioned that nothing can be confirmed now as the discussions are still on.
