Anushka Manjrekar, the young versatile singer releasedher new album "My Salute To The Goddess of Music-Lata Mangeshkar." by the hands of Lata Didi on 6th May2009 in Jaipur. This Album consist of all the memorable solo Songs of Lata Mangeshkar. "Anushka has sung it veryperfectly & melodiously" said the queen of melody Shreya Ghoshal. She was also present during the Releasing. Before this she had released two Marathi albums"Meech Mazya Roopachi Raani Ga" & " Bhakti Geet".She dreams to release a new Album of Duet Songsof Lata-Rafi. Anushka is the most versatile singer, She efficientlycopies all the features & voice of the original singer.When she sings Shreya's Songs, she made her voiceto give the effect of Shreya. Shreya Ghoshal considers herself very lucky because her smash debut, Devdas, was immediately followed by Jism. Shreya and Bobby singer Shailendra Singh, incidentally, are the only singers who zoomed to the top with their debut films, minus any struggle unlike most singers who struggle from anything from a year to a decade (or in some cases even longer). But her career-graph would have been slower and far less spectacular had Jism not happened as her follow-up victory.
